Money Management Seminar

Brainwashing your concepts about Money

I attended "The Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar" that was held here in Toronto, November 28-30, 2008. It was a three-day experience that's intended as a way to help turn your financial life around. The objectives are to change how people think about money and to create habits to that create wealth. The training is based on #1 New York Times Bestseller Secrets of the Millionaire MindMastering the Inner Game of Wealth by T Harv Eker.

Why do some people seem to have the Midas touch and get rich easily, while others are destined to for financial failure? According to the book it doesn't have to do with skills, education, intelligence, work ethics or contacts.

I read the book, which I found amazingly easy to read and full of pure common sense which, of course is not the most common of senses. So I decided to attend the seminar and I was a little bit skeptical about having the energy and commitment to sit for this 3 day course. However the seminar was like none other which I have attended in the past, and it was 10 times better than the book!

The training is conducted by Peak Potentials, a company founded by T Harv Eker. They have developed a very powerful delivery mechanism, where people are brainwashed to learn the material in just very a few days and provided the tools to create the habits and incorporate the leanings into your daily life.

Yes, I said brainwashed, because is kind of flushing your old way of thinking and learning new ways of doing things. Normally I would not agree with this kind of technique but you know what? I am tired of spending my money in trainings that give me a lot of good advice or knowledge that people forget in just a few days and never incorporate into their lives.

The trainers keep the audience engaged by making them constantly repeat some keywords of the subject just taught and participating with exercises. These techniques help us understand why each of us are the way we are, why is we get the results we are getting and create specific action plans to change our habits.

During the program Peak Potentials promotes other seminars and training material and they are the masters of marketing. I recommend for people to go slow as some people get too excited and involved and willing to make big decisions, as if they want to run before they learn to walk. My advice would be to take the seminar, incorporate the learning into your daily routine and see how it work for you; if it produces you results then go for it, attend to another course and so on. That is, get first your Return on Investment and move slowly. That way you may not be taking full advantage of price packaging or low cost seminars, but you will keep your cash flow which will help you to produce more money than the savings. Once you are absolutely sure that this is for you and that these teachings are creating wealth for you then go for it, 100%.

The seminar was a great experience, I learned a lot, ended up excited and pumped out and most importantly I came out with a plan to start changing my life. I definitely recommend it to anybody that is struggling with money issues.

I look forward to write a new article in few months telling you if this worked for me or not.
